What. A. Dream.

Seriously, this guy was adorable and is being welcomed by one of the sweetest families.  Remember the wintery maternity session I did a few weeks back?  This is their little man!  And he was the most precious thing, too.  Mom said she liked colorful photos, so I selected some jewel tones to use for his session.  Beautiful blue sapphire, red ruby, and yellow citrine (of course mixed in with neutrals).  He totally rocked them all.

Doesn’t mom look amazing?  This is one of my favorite poses to do with new moms because it really accentuates the size of their newborn.  This pose really can’t be done once they’re over a few weeks old simply because they do not fit anymore.  They’re too big to fit!  It’s such a fleeting moment and they aren’t this little for very long, it’s an amazing pose to capture.

And those itty bitty details that are so important to document!

This little guy also had family visiting him all the way from California and I was thrilled to be able to capture photos with them, as well.  Words cannot express how amazing it was to see how much love this little guy already has coming his way from not only his parents and big brother, but also his aunt and cousins.  I could totally feel it in the studio.  What a lucky guy he is!  Leave a comment below and let me know which is your favorite photo.
