Vernon Hills Family photography | Turning 2

Having a past client refer me to their friends is one of the biggest compliments I can receive.  It means they loved their session so much, they just know their friends would, too.  That’s exactly how this adorable family from Vernon Hills found me.

Going into a session with new clients, I never know what to expect.  Will their kiddo start out shy?  Will it take time to warm up?  Will they listen to me?  Will they like me?  Sometimes their alter ego likes to come out during photography sessions and that’s ok!  I used to be an art teacher so I know how to work with all personalities our children may have.

Yeah, no worries, here.  This little girl was maybe the spunkiest child I’ve ever photographed.  She was so full of life and animation, I loved it!  Running here, crashing there.  She definitely kept me on my toes!

She came ready to rock and roll – some diva sunglasses and a little lovie in the form of a monkey.  That monkey was in nearly EVERY shot I took but her parents were awesome with hiding it behind their backs or throwing it just out of frame when posing with her.  Thank you!!!

Just another reminder my fall schedule is almost fully booked (yes, I realize what month it is).  If you’re thinking of waiting, you’re probably going to miss your chance at the day and time that’s best for your family.  I strongly encourage you to contact me NOW to set your date.  (For reference, as of today I only have 5 more dates available in October and just a handful left in November).

Currently scheduling 2025 due dates!
