So here’s two firsts – new family, new location. And I loved them both! Naturally I love meeting new people. I enjoy feeling out their personalities over the phone and email. This mom was so sweet and was all about getting things perfect. We went back and forth over the months leading up to her session with clothing ideas, location ideas, and more. The location (thanks to Google maps) was literally behind some stores where she lived in Homer Glen. I got there way early to walk around and I couldn’t believe how amazing it was! There was a little pond, small patches of trees, and then a cornfield. I kid you not! I’m from downstate so I’m used to them being all over the place. But not in the middle of the Chicago suburbs!
Anywho, her girls were amazingly sweet. And the whole family was photogenic, so that is doubly amazing for me. Their session was amazingly fun. Plus, check out our sunset!

The littlest needed some snuggles by the end. But its just the sweetest thing! Its one of my favorite things about sunset sessions – when the kids just need those cuddles riiiiiight at the end. Oh, and the sinker face. Love!
Fall and winter sessions typically begin booking June 1, so if you are looking to create similar images of your own family please don’t wait for the leaves to begin changing! Contact me ASAP to book.
