Family photographer Libertyville IL

The big ole’ one year photography session.  Never a dull moment with these for anyone involved.  There is always the stress for the families getting ready and then stress on my end to get those fun personality photos during the session.  Some kids have major stranger danger with me at first (and it always works out), but this one was luckily all smiles for me from the beginning!  And good thing, too, because it was HOT. I wasn’t sure how much running around acting like a crazy person I could manage without it looking like I jumped in a lake. So gross, I know.

This girl is a sassy one (the best) and gave SO many different faces for me.  Most were smiles, but I think my favorite was a serious stink eye she gave to her parents at one point – scroll down and it’s the very final photo in the post.  And the detail photos are always a favorite of mine, too. It all changes so fast!

Also, kudos to mom for finding the cutest vintage-inspired outfits. They both worked perfectly!!!

I was so happy to get to know this family over the past year and to see their baby girl grow.
