1 year photos Chicago

I reconnected with a college friend of mine and I was thrilled to see him and his family again for more photos! This time, they were for 1 year photos in my studio.

1 year olds are always tricky. Stranger danger is in full force, so the chances of crying when they see me is decent (and not so fun). But that silly side is also there, sometimes it takes a bit of magic to prod it out of them…which I am up for! As I tell parents – don’t stress, I got this.

This girl has a LOT of personality. Mainly sweet, but definitely silly. I love when I’m able to see each side of them while they’re in my studio. Scroll on down and you’ll definitely see it all! From happy to silly to serious to curious. My favorite? Her sticking her tongue out. Duh.

Her family came prepared with a little “1” outfit, but they also took full advantage of the studio’s closet, as well. The grey sweater romper and peach halter romper looked so sweet on her, too! The upcycled sweater is a one of a kind from Avonli and is actually one of the most popular outfits moms choose for sessions. I mean, isn’t she gorgeous!? Such a little doll-baby. Thanks Osborne family for trusting me. And thanks for making such a cute kid, too.

Of course I’d love to photograph your overly cute 1 year old child as well. My studio is in downtown Lake Zurich, Illinois and I photograph families all throughout the Chicago area including Barrington, Arlington Heights, Glenview, Hawthorn Woods, Schaumburg, and more! My studio is stocked and ready for you with outfits, props, and simple backdrops. Of course we can photograph outdoors and I LOVE shoot at sunset for those.
