Lake Zurich baby photographer

I had the pleasure of photographing this little guy just after Thanksgiving last year in my Lake Zurich studio.  This family found me through a referral of another photographer and I couldn’t be happier to have met them.  They are an adorable new family (and the mom and I seem weirdly similar in many ways).  I am honored they like what I do so much that they are coming in several times leading up to the big cake smash session.  They know how fast he is going to change and they want to be sure to document him every step of the way…literally.  At least I’m hoping to photograph some of those first steps!  I am so excited I get to see this guy grow up right in front of my eyes.  I love photographing the major milestones throughout a baby’s first year.

So here we are 3 months into a first year baby plan.  Milestones?  Pushing up and smiles! And I love the clean setups like this.  It really lets you focus on the baby’s face.  They are starting to have so many expressive looks at this age!

Isn’t he such a cutie?  And of course, no session is complete without the obligatory red-faced crying photo.  Here ya go!

 

It is hard for me to believe this guy will be six months old the next time I see him.  Eeep!   He’ll be onto rolling over and sitting up by then.  I cannot wait for it!.
