Deer Park IL family photographer

This session was a first for me.  In a good way!

In talking with mom and reading their questionnaire, I assumed this was a family session just like any other.  We meet at this location in Deer Park, IL and all is well.  We started out with some family poses and went into my normal flow.  We moved to a new location and then everything changed…

 

And then, everything changed.  I am trying to decide who was more surprised with this, me or her.  I was setting up for another shot and grabbing the kids, so I had NO idea this was coming. I was definitely in shock when I realized what I was witnessing, but in a good way.  Like I said this was a first for me and it was a great moment!  After the excitement settled down, we get back into things and finished the session.  I remember when I was planning the session0 mom told me she really wanted a photo of the four of them walking together, not looking at the camera.  I do a mix of posed and unposed in my session, and natural posing I really enjoy. So of course, I had a blast with the session.

 

This last photo was the one they desperately wanted.  A natural, walking photo.  Unposed.  Unscripted.  Real life.  This is them and it makes my heart sing!  It resonated with them, as well, and it now hangs as a 20×30 stunning framed print in their home.  I know they were in the process of moving when they received it, but I cannot wait to see it hung in their house!  I took a quick cell photo and posted it on my Facebook page when it was delivered to my home it because it was so impressive.
