Family photos at Biltmore Country Club

You may have heard of the Biltmore far away from here, but this is the Biltmore Country Club in Barrington, Illinois, a beautiful suburb just outside Chicago. Maybe you’ve heard of this club or maybe you’ve been there for a wedding or golf outing? If you’re a member, have you thought about having your family photos taken there?

It literally rained on me as I pulled into the parking lot but a quick 5 minutes later the clouds broke for a beautiful sunset! I had plenty of unique spots to choose from around the club’s grounds. Of course, there were beautiful flowers, stonework, and everything was well-maintained (a little different than a local preserve where sometimes the wildflowers are hard to find depending on the time of the year). Being smack in the middle of summer, most wildflowers have wilted away with fall just around the corner so this was a nice change of pace for me.

I must note that this is a private club, so if you’re a local photographer wanting to photograph a family here or loving this location for your own photos please be sure you are photographing a member/you are a member and that you have permission to be on their grounds.
