Hey hey, the Z family is back! The boys were just in the studio for their photos a few weeks ago. In fact I even blogged about it. However it was time they updated their entire family photo so they opted for a mini session this time around. Mom also wanted something outdoors so we agreed on this spot in the Derk Park/Kildeer area. I’m sure I sound like a broken record if you’ve read my past blog posts, but the winter here has been so long and nasty I am more than excited to be back outside, again. Plus, this location is pretty spectacular.
Like I said, this family was just in the studio for their two boys. Their oldest son is such a ham and he loves to hide from me so it takes some playing as he warms up to the idea of my camera. Swinging around with mom and dad was a great idea!
And of course, we have to take some break for some cuddles with Daddy.
Mom also wanted to get a few photos with her daughters. Her oldest is going to school for illustration, which I think is really cool. In college I was always jealous of those that were good at drawing and it came naturally to them. Like me she’s going to grow up doing something she loves and I know her mom is proud of her for following that talent.
Also, in the second photo below I’m pretty sure I was threatening to tickle them and dancing around pretending to do it (what I was doing to J to make him smile). Good to know it works on older kids, too. Ha!
Thanks again to the Z family for another great session. It is always great seeing you!
If you’re looking for a custom photographer in the Kildeer/Deer Park/Barrington areas, drop me a line and let me know what you’re looking for and how I can help. I’d love to hear from you!
