Lake Bluff IL beach photographer

I LOVE the beach!  And I adore this family!  I met them last year but they recently moved and wanted to update their photos at Sunrise Beach in Lake Bluff, IL.  It’s a great little beach with rocks and amazing scenery and its not overly crowded.  It was my first time there and I hope it’s not the last!  Beach sessions in the Chicago area are interesting because we face East and don’t get the warm, glowy sunsets that I love, but we do get some amazing colors in the sky as the sun sets behind the bluff that is there at this location.  The colors change so fast, too!  Within minutes it was blue, to orange, to purple and pink, all depending on my angle and the time.  Beautiful!

These kids are full of spunk and personality and I really enjoy photographing them. because they have so many expressions that come through for me!  Plus, all I have to talk about is anything Disney and we’re all on the same page.  I know mom and dad do not want to be in their photos, but V was having such a sweet moment with dad and they had an amazing sky behind them I had to sneak it in!

I cannot wait to see their photographs when they arrive!  They ordered a series of framed prints to go up their staircase as well as a print to update a frame they already had and I know it’s all going to look amazing when it’s all said and done.
