If you think a typical session is very calm, quiet, and everyone is 100% perfect…then here’s a dose of truth. People (especially young kids) have their own idea of what they want to do for their photo session. And that’s 100% ok! I love seeing who kids truly are and being able to photograph that for their families. Photographing their little crinkled noses, belly laughs, and shrieks of delight are what make me love doing what I do. And it’s something that tends to disappear as they get older so enjoy it now, mommas.

I’ve been photographing this family for a few years, now. When mom contacted me and told me she was expecting #3, I was beyond thrilled for them! They are the cutest family – older sister tends to be more shy and quiet while their youngest does her own thing with some flair. And naturally, the parents just roll with it. I absolutely adored photographing this family again and just know they are rocking out as a family of 5!
