This is baby number three and boy number one for this family!! Like most newborns, he loved being swaddled and wrapped up, nice and cozy. Plus he had a very full head of hair! I loved how it peeked out from behind from the bonnets since it really showed off how much he had!

Mom gave me the green light to do as I please and I had some new items I was wanting to use, so I had a lot of fun with this session. Sleepy baby. First boy. Lots of hair. Calm and awake at the end. Perfection, right?

He slept so well and I was able to pose him a ton, but he was awake at the end and ready to party with me. Back in the day I used to stress if that happened, but anymore I roll with it and keep doing my thing. I love seeing their little expressions when they are awake (and many of them make me laugh) so I take advantage of their awake times. Sometimes they give me the biggest stink eye, which we all know will resurface when they hit those very fun pre-teen years. Haha. Enjoy those looks for the years to come, parents.

My studio is located in downtown Lake Zurich, IL. However, I photograph families throughout Chicagoland including Mt. Prospect, Wheeling, Palatine, Arlington Heights, Barrington, Inverness, and more. My private studio is full of everything needed for your session, so just bring your newborn baby and you’re all set! Everything you see here belongs to the studio, so know that I have you covered!

Due to the amount of time dedicated to a newborn session, it is important you book with me before baby is here.
