A newborn baby session at my Lake Zurich, IL studio will record every detail of them from their downy-soft hair to the wrinkles on their back in this fleeting newborn stage. I have specialized in newborns for over 15 years and I will supply everything for the session from start to finish. I have a large collection of props, wraps, hats and more just for your session. I even have clothes for you and your other kiddos to wear, if needed. I have taken extensive newborn posing classes from industry leaders, so rest assured I will treat your newborn with safe and caring hands with years of experience from the 100’s of babies I’ve photographed. I’ve also been consistently rated as one of the top newborn photographer in Chicago since 2017, so trust that my experience will mean a relaxed and beautiful session for you.
I only accept a limited number of due dates each month due to the custom nature of each newborn session, so its best to contact me to reserve yours during your 2nd or 3rd trimester to ensure space in my calendar. Newborn sessions are completed on a weekday morning inside my private studio in downtown Lake Zurich, which is in the northwest Chicago suburbs.
Digital-only options for newborn photography packages range from $500-$1700 with the option to add on beautiful, heirloom-quality products or additional files. Most families choose either the Bump to Baby package or the whole-year option (Golden Year) that includes a newborn, 6 month, and 1 year session (my most popular option). Session details
Newborn sessions take place in my private Lake Zurich, IL studio in those first 2-3 weeks of life. You will not share the space with another family, photographer, or business. My space is dedicated providing comfort for not only the baby, but also you! I have a studio space where I will work and you are more than welcome to sit, watch, and chat. I also have a separate space with a TV, wifi, and other amenities to provide comfort while you wait. For the past 15 years I have been collecting props, baskets, hats, wraps, and everything else I need to achieve my style of photography, so there is no need to supply anything for your session.
Pricing and Packages
My standard packages can be found in the graphic above. There are various options for you and each reflects the time and dedication I will provide for you. With over 15 years of experience, you can rest assured that your session will be taken with extreme care with precise editing to reflect that high level of experience.
A Simply Baby session is for those that want just a few photos. This session is my shortest offering and the session will be done in a single color with your baby comfortably wrapped for a beautifully curated, cohesive look.
A Wrapped Baby session is slightly longer and includes more photos and more color variety. Baby will be wrapped for comfort during the session.
Baby + Family will include the largest variety of poses as well as beautiful photos of your baby with you, your partner, and any siblings. Both wrapped and unwrapped poses are included in this session. Baby can also be unwrapped but still covered if you prefer.
Additional files, print, or other products can be added on at any time to your session.
