Oh my goodness! Look at the cheeks on this dude! When he came in and I saw those and his rolls, I knew I was going to have a lot of fun posing him for his photos. I took full advantage of how cute this guy was when I saw him in my Lake Zurich studio.

I mean, those rolls are amazing, right!?

Excitement is how I would characterize this session. Mom and dad were so excited their newest guy was here. Big big sister was over the moon! She did anything I asked of her during her time with me so she made my job super easy. Thanks, kiddo!

I was so happy his eyes opened (briefly) so I could get a single photo of him looking at me. haha! He was a champion sleeper, so the fact they opened for me at all was great!

If only all babies were great sleepers all the time, right? Haha. New parents know that struggle, no doubt. He had so many amazing photos from his session that there were just too many to pick from!

Photographing newborns when they are roughly two weeks old is my favorite! If you’re pregnant, please reach out to learn more about my newborn sessions or to book your spot in my calendar. I only take on a handful of newborns a month, so most moms schedule during their second or third trimester to ensure my availability.
