Lake County IL family photography

Meet the O family.  Doug and I have known each other since college where we were both art education majors.  There was a small group of us that bonded together over art projects, classwork, teaching assignments…and then of course we hung out outside classes where we all just “clicked”.  It’s funny that very few of us in that group are still teaching, but at least we’re all using the art side of our degree in some capacity.

We lost touch over the years – I think the last time I saw him was at my wedding.  We’re friends on Facebook, but he’s one that doesn’t post much of anything…so when he contacted me about photographing their 6 month old I was beyond excited! Not only would I get to meet his wife but also his daughter (who is stinkin’ cute, by the way).  They’re perfect and a beautiful family of three.  And their daughter has got some chunk on her which is my absolute favorite to see on kids at this age.  The fat dimples stop being cute as we get older, you know?

It’s that time of year – fall sessions are in full swing.  As I write this, I have only a handful of dates remaining for those interested in a session this year.  My outdoor photos start about an hour before sunset and take place in the northwest Chicago suburbs.  If you live in or near Lake Zurich, Schaumburg, Arlington Heights, Hawthorn Woods, Libertyville, Chicago, or Barrington, I have a perfect location for you!  Plus I promise to act like a fool to make your kiddos like me, so you’ll have that entertainment during your session to look forward to.
