R family | Lake Zurich family photography

I’ve been photographing this family for a number of years, now. I started when their oldest was a newborn and I cannot believe he’s gotten so big! Same for their little girl, too. She wasn’t too excited about having her photo taken on this particular day (stranger danger is real for many kids this age), but she eventually warmed up to me.

Throughout their session her big brother was being so sweet, trying to cheer her up. I loved seeing him hug her and love on her while I was photographing the four of them. He’s a total ham that loves the camera, too. I’m sure it will change in years to come, but in the meantime I’ll take it!

They are local to Lake Zurich and I had them meet me in a brand new spot not too far from my studio. It worked out beautifully! And when I say brand new, this place didn’t exist a few years ago and they were still working on at the time of this session. I cannot wait to see how it looks in the years to come! I’m super excited to have a place like this so close!
