I love when past families I have photographed send their friends my way. It’s a nice familiarity between myself and them since they know of me from their friends…and I feel like I know them, as well. I was so excited when this family came to me through a friend’s recommendation. And they trusted me 100% with their session, making selections, and with posing their sweet little girl. She did a fabulous job for me!!!

Plus, I now get to see this family a few more times since I will be photographing both her 6 month and 1 year sessions as well. I love being able to do that and see them grow and their personalities grow, as well. This little one and their family is going to be soooo fun for me to work with over the course of the year. I cannot wait!

Maternity photographer Palatine IL

Everything about this sessions was perfection! This beautiful momma-to-be and I had been in contact back and forth leading up to her session. She ended up coming to the studio with her husband to check out the studio’s closet. It’s my (not so) secret stash of beautiful dresses, top, and gowns for moms to rifle through to select from for their photos. Most are for pregnant moms, but some can definitely be worn by non-pregnant moms, as well.

Anywho, she came in and tried on several dresses and had one picked out that she wanted to wear for her maternity session. I met her at a local spot on this gorgeous fall night, dress in hand. But here she comes in wearing this beautiful dress. I believe she told me she wore it for her shower and it was perfect, so we went on with the session with her wearing that one! But seriously, look how adorable these two are! Plus, she was absolutely glowing for her maternity photos, they were dresses amazingly, and we had the most amazing sunset. Mwah! Loved it!

These two are absolutely stunning, right??! I wish I had more time with them!

This little guy came to my Lake Zurich studio at the end of 2017 for a newborn mini session (which is for baby only). These sessions are a change of pace for me and I do love them! It gives me time to focus on just the baby and get those adorable newborn photos that families always want. His mom I had actually “met” via email years before this session and she told me that she knew that once she had a baby of her own, she was going to have me their his/her photos. I was sooooo flattered when she told me that! I truly love what I do and hearing that was one of those nice validations, you know?

Plus, check out this guy! And I am digging the cool aqua tones on him.

My private studio is located in downtown Lake Zurich where it is filled with everything I could possibly need for you session (plus its clean, sanitized, and ready to go). I photograph families and newborn babies from Palatine, Libertyville, Hawthorn Woods, Arlington Heights, Schaumburg, Highland Park, Long Grove, and more through the surrounding Chicago suburbs. Not only have I have been doing this since 2009, but I have been listed as one of the top newborn photographers in Chicago for two years in a row and I would love to photograph yours, as well! Hi, my name is Stacy. I am a newborn photographer and I love me some babies. Especially cute babies. And this guy was no exception! This family found their way to me through a referral of a friend of mine and I couldn’t have been more honored to capture their sweet baby boy in my Lake Zurich studio. He slept like a dream and had the BEST lips. Check out the sweet little macro detail shot of his spit bubbles below. I seriously adore it so so so much. Plus the back fat wrinkles! Aaaah! Then throw in a newborn with hair!? YES PLEASE! I swoon over those little tufts sticking out from under little baby hats. But then again let’s be honest. I just love newborns…

When this family came back into the studio to view their photos I helped them to begin their planning for a collage above their fireplace that they will add to as he gets older – I cannot wait to see that grow as the years go on!
