If you’re looking for classic, beautiful black and white portraits of your children then look no further! I am offering limited space one weekend only that you won’t want to miss! This will definitely sell out.

Sessions are 20 minutes long and include 6 files with print rights up to 8×12 for $225. Styling and wardrobe help is always available.

When checking out, please type in your desired date and 3 times that work with your schedule. After you check out I will send a follow-up email within 24 hours to confirm your date and time as well as a link to view and sign the contract online. I know these will go fast, so don’t wait! In case that no available dates or times work with your schedule, your payment will be refunded. Please check your spam folder – many are finding my confirmation emails winding up there. Please be 10 minutes early to your session. Latecomers cannot have additional time added onto session.

Limited to a single child and siblings, only. Limited to a max of 3 siblings – each additional child is $25 and will result in a longer session to accommodate additional children.

Sessions are reserved for children 6 months and older.

Oh my gosh, I have sooo been looking forward to this session. I met this couple awhile back and I couldn’t be more thrilled to be able to photograph them and I am super excited to meet their newest family member very soon!

When we were planning the session we were worried about the typical Chicago winter. They are always SO cold and SO long. We were in the talks of a possible outdoor session and the backup would be to head to my Lake Zurich studio if the weather didn’t cooperate. It’s so nice to have that option! Lucky for us it was gorgeous! Cloudy, but plenty warm for some outdoor photos. The snow was fresh and the wind wasn’t blowing, so we definitely lucked out at this location in Deer Park!

Plus, isn’t this momma stunning? I remember at one point they were looking at the photos on the back of the camera and said “Oh, it looks like it came straight out of a magazine. Your camera is soooo nice.” Two things. 1) it’s ALL you. Trust me. And 2) The camera has little to do with how your photos look. It’s all about lighting, angles, and having an awesome subject! Besides – I am the one telling my camera what to do. 🙂

Summer photography sessions

So I know what you’re thinking. Stacy, it is currently below freezing here in the Chicago area and there is snow all over. Why are you talking about summer?

Because summer sunset sessions are open and my availability is quickly disappearing.

These sessions are beautiful with the golden sunlight, gorgeous scenery, and pops of color from the wildflowers. I just can’t stress enough how important it is to book NOW to be sure you get your desired date and time. My schedule was at capacity last year and because of that I told several of you “no”, but I think that’s why I am booking up earlier than ever this year. They don’t want to hear me tell them no (and I really don’t like turning families away).

Summer sessions are booked an hour before sunset meaning most sessions will start at 7pm or later. Easy-peasy to have your session after dinner. Why evening? That is the best time to get the amazing golden, warm light that everyone loves.

Your location will be determined at a future date, but typically they are in the Lake County area (I am based in Lake Zurich).

Baby O | Springfield IL newborn photographer

This session was a first, for me. I started my business in my home before moving into my studio space, so newborn sessions were always done in my own studio. For this session I actually travelled downstate to her home and completed the session there. I’ve known Sarah since I was 5 or 6. She actually designed my logo when I rebranded years ago! I was beyond thrilled and honored she asked me to photograph her! She easily could have found someone local to her, but she instead wanted to use me. Words can’t describe how that makes me feel!

So I packed up my car with my gear and when downstate. I’m originally from there so it also gives me a chance to visit back home so it really was no hassle. Plus, baby O was such a great sleeper and I couldn’t have asked for a more beautiful session. Seeing that this was my first in-home session I was nervous, but it was perfect. It was a mix of my typical posed newborn shots with some more lifestyle images. Thanks for being amazing, G family! It was a trip well worth it. And your gallery is overflowing, so thank YOU!
