This is third time I’ve seen this family back in my studio and they’re a blast each time. They’re a super sweet family and we get along great, so they trust me to pick out anything I want to use when it comes to colors, props, clothes, etc. I am kinda in love with his little grey outfit (which belongs to my studio), so I am sooooo so happy it fit him!

And the amount of love this big sister has for her little brother is surreal. She would do absolutely anything for him and he adores every thing she does. It’s the sweetest thing. Although looking at the photos he wasn’t to big on getting kissed by her that day. But she tried!

And those little wisps of hair he has on each side? I’m sure it will be a sad day in their house once those get cut!

My private photography studio is located in downtown Lake Zurich, however my outdoor sessions are completed throughout the area including. 2016 Summer and fall photography sessions

Here you go. All the details you need to book your summer or fall 2016 session. Scroll down for all the details.

My basic schedule: I shoot newborns no more than 2 weekday mornings a week at the studio. Outdoor sessions are scheduled on select evenings and in-studio sessions select mornings. 11 months of the year book 1 Saturday a month and do not shoot on Sundays. Sundays are reserved as my rain out days. I am not open on holidays.

Photographer’s note: Our busy season is October-ish with the changing colors, so if you are specifically wanting that month emailing me me ASAP is strongly encouraged. As many of you found out in the past that contacting me a month or two from now will mean I am solidly booked, so please don’t wait to schedule your session!

Outdoor mini session – 20 minute session booked back to back on select evenings in the Lake or Cook county areas. Sessions start 60-90 minutes before sunset depending on location and date. 10 hi res files are included with option to purchase more (a typical mini gallery has 15-20). Our signature product is always available to you for purchase, as well. Mini sessions are $350.
Crossed out dates are not available. Remaining dates have at least 1 opening still available.

Outdoor full session – session fee $175

Hour long session with 30 proofs. Any prints, files, etc are purchased separately and not included in the session fee. Full sessions will also allow you to have a selection of locations to choose from and a more personalized session, unlike minis. You will also meet with me at the studio 1-2 weeks after your session to view your proofs and to determine which signature products and files are best for you and your family and place your order. No sitting in front of the computer debating what to do for weeks on end – 60 minutes max and you’re done! Most families finish in 30 minutes.

Print + digital packages start at $500 and include all of your files.

Full outdoor sessions are held on select evenings 60-90 minutes before sunset. Please note I only shoot 1 Saturday a month and those are the first to book. However weeknight sessions are easily possible with the late summer sunsets. I highly recommend for you to book a weekday evening for the best chance of having the session you want in the month you want.

Newborn session – session fee $175

For details on what is included with a mini maternity session or full newborn session, check the blurbs above or email me for the info. Newborn sessions can last up to 3 hours and include family/mommy/daddy/and sibling images.

It is best to book your session before baby arrives, preferably during your 2nd trimester. Newborn sessions are completed when baby is less than 2 weeks old.

Year-long plans are available for those interested as well as newborn-only mini sessions. Please ask me about booking one of these sessions if you’re interested. stacy@golden-photography.net

All dates and offerings are first come, first served. Emails and sessions will be answered and booked in the order they are received. An online signed contract and $175 retainer is required to book your session. It is best to check your calendar and email me as soon as possible to book your ideal date. Either myself or my assistant will get back to you 24-48 hours after you email me to schedule your session.

Outdoor family photography Barrington, IL

Take one for this outdoor session: the poor dude wanted nothing to do with me. It happens and I get it. Stranger danger. Long Grove was not happening for us.

So take two. New location near the Barrington, IL area. MUCH better. He definitely make me work for it, though. It involved me chasing after him which is totally cool because I don’t think I had a workout that day. So I got a workout in and this family had an awesome sunset session. It’s a win-win situation for us all!

In all seriousness, this little guy has SO much personality. Let’s talk about his love for dinosaurs. And dirt. The little dino had to go everywhere with him! If you don’t see it in a photo, it means I had taken it and it was in my hand (probably doing something silly like dancing on my camera or my head). Then there is the love of dirt. If I chased him, he immediately ran into the grass and mud. Mud and little boys are perfect magnets, right?

I had a baby boom in the studio last fall and this guy was one of those babies! I love my neutral colors, but I thought a lot of of deep, dark blues would be perfect for him (am I right?????). His skin tones and hair color was just great for this color! Not only that, he was another amazing sleeper (which always makes my job easier).

Plus, check out that kissy face in the first photo below. Love it!!!

If you are expecting, please contact me right as you enter your second trimester to ensure my availability. Because newborn sessions are completed before your baby is 2 weeks new, it is important to contact me and book before your new baby is here. I only photograph two newborns a week, so you can see how my schedule fills very quickly. I really hate saying no, so please contact me early to ensure you can get onto my calendar. While I always do my best to stay flexible, if my schedule is fully booked there is not much I can do.

All newborn baby sessions are completed in my downtown Lake Zurich IL studio. I have everything for your session at my fingertips so you just come and relax while I work – no need to bring anything. Please contact me as soon as you’re comfortable booking.
